The Founders Collective

Charles Sturt University’s AgriTech Incubator has moved one of its free event series for business owners and entrepreneurs to Facebook Live.

The Founders Collective, which started out as a free monthly gathering for business founders in Wagga Wagga to share experiences, network and listen to a talk by a business founder guest host, has been transformed into an online event.

The University’s Agritech Incubator has created a Facebook group for participants of The Founders Collective to connect online, support each other, and share ideas and stories.

Speaking of the community’s response to the event’s new online presence, Manager of Charles Sturt Incubators Ms Annette Davies said she is thrilled with the interest received so far.

“Just like everyone else, we are having to rethink how we do business,” Ms Davies said.

“Within 24 hours of launching our Facebook group for The Founders Collective, we have had 50 members join from all over New South Wales.

“We have lots of great tips and speakers in store, so I encourage all current and aspiring business founders to join our new online community.”

The revamped series is set to feature a host of seasoned entrepreneurs who will share their stories at the Facebook Live events and discuss how they are adapting in these challenging times.

The online series will also feature talks on self-care and helpful resources to help business founders navigate these times.

To access the series’ Facebook Live events, join The Founder Collective Facebook group.
