Dr Matt Cahill announced as Chief Strategy Officer for the AgriPark
The AgriPark is gaining further momentum and we are delighted to welcome Dr Matt Cahill, from Matt Cahill Consulting, to the team as our consultant AgriPark Chief Strategy Officer.
Matt has broad experience in government, academia and corporate agricultural science environments in Australia with Dow AgroSciences and in Europe and Rothamsted Research.
He has strong academic credentials with a BScAg from UNE Armidale, MPhil and PhD from Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society. Over the coming months Matt will be working closely with the Steering Committee and our Senior Project Officer to finalise the AgriPark's long term Business Plan and identify and engage with potential new collaborators at the AgriPark.
Professor Heather Cavanagh also joins the AgriPark team, replacing Professor Mary Kelly as the Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Development and Industry) and Chair of the AgriPark Steering Committee.
